a hell of a man [2002]
georgie porgie sugar and pie kiss the girls and make them cry
when the boys came out to play georgie porgie ran away ran away ran away
my mother said my father was a hell of a man
for us itīs always been just hell
chorus:
my brotherīs lying next to me and he is crying
i am pretending to sleep but i am lying
nobody knows where my sister is tonight
just so long as she is out of sight
i get up to check that the door is locked
and i hear my mother in the next room praying
i wonder what she ever saw in him
it has to be more than what weīve seen
chorus:
we canīt understand why she ever wants him home
all we want is that he leaves us alone
my sister stopped being a child at the age of ten
having made her a women when he came home drunk again
chorus:
i met my sister on the street the other night
she introduced me to her new boyfriend
she said heīs a hell of a man
she said heīs a hell of a man
chorus:
